Corn on the Cob with Sweet & Savory Spreads

 Ingredients

Corn:

  • 7 qts water
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 8 ears fresh corn, shucked

Spreads

Creamy Chipolte

  • 5 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 14 tsp chipolte powder, more if desire spicy

Maple Butter

  • 4 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp coarse sea salt

 

Directions

Corn: Place water and salt in Granite·Ware® Corn Pot; cover and bring water to boil over high heat. Once boiling, add corn, place lid on pt and bring water back to a boil while cooking corn 3-4 minutes. Remove corn from water.

Spreads: Meanwhile prepare spreads.  In medium bowl combine butter and ingredients for each separate spread. Stir well to combine. Slather either spread onto cooked cobs. Serves 8
