Water Bath Canning – Farm to Pantry Goodness

Water bath canning is used for preserving fruits, tomatoes, pickles, relishes, jams, jellies and marmalades. The high acid levels in these foods make them safe to water bath can when heated to high temperatures.

  • Not all pots are made for canning – the water bath canners by Granite·Ware® have been designed and manufactured specifically for water bath canning
  • Granite·Ware® water bath canners are not recommended for use on glass top cooktops because some glass cooktops do not generate enough heat to safely can but Granite·Ware® water bath canners are safe to use with all other heat sources
